Bonkbot Trading Bot Recovery

Bonkbot is a popular Telegram trading bot for Solana tokens. If you've been trading memecoins, you likely have many empty token accounts with SOL waiting to be recovered.

Step 1: Export Your Private Key from Bonkbot

  1. Open Bonkbot on Telegram
  2. Send the /start command
  3. Click the "Wallet" button
  4. Click "Export Private Key"
  5. Click "Confirm" to reveal your private key
  6. Copy the private key and store it securely
⚠️ Important: Your private key gives full access to your wallet. Never share it with anyone. Delete the message after copying.

Step 2: Import into Phantom

  1. Open Phantom wallet (mobile or extension)
  2. Go to Settings → Manage Accounts
  3. Tap "Add / Connect Wallet"
  4. Select "Import Private Key"
  5. Paste the private key you copied from Bonkbot
  6. Give it a name like "Bonkbot Wallet" and confirm

Step 3: Claim Your SOL

  1. Make sure the imported Bonkbot wallet is selected in Phantom
  2. Visit freesolana.org
  3. Click "Connect Wallet" and select Phantom
  4. Wait for the scan to find your empty token accounts
  5. Click "Claim" and approve the transaction
  6. Your SOL will be sent to the Bonkbot wallet instantly

Step 4: Transfer to Your Main Wallet (Optional)

After claiming, you may want to transfer the recovered SOL to your main wallet for safekeeping:

  1. In Phantom, tap "Send"
  2. Enter your main wallet address
  3. Select the amount of SOL to send
  4. Confirm the transaction
💡 Pro Tip: You can also send it back to Bonkbot if you want to continue trading with that wallet.
